House wife escapes lynching over allegation of lesbianism

A House wife escapes lynching over allegation of lesbianism at the Ajah area of Lagos State, while another was beaten to coma.


One of the women who was beaten to coma was rescued by a local vigillance group who spirited her away from the angry mob.
The woman and her children have sent a save our souls to the Police as they alleged that they have been warned not to come back to the vicinity as they would be burnt alive by the community.


Damaged Agartha’s car
It was gathered that the mother of three simply identified as Agatha, was allegedly caught with another married woman having sex and that drew the ire of the community.
Agatha and her partner, a popular trader also known as Madam TJ were allegedly caught in TJ’s apartment by a neighbour who raised the alarm that attracted the youths.
The angry youths were alleged to have beaten up Tj and damaged Agatha’s car.
A community leader Muyiwa, explained that the alleged female lovers were caught in the act while Agatha escaped , TJ was unlucky as she was apprehended and beaten to a coma. It was gathered that Agatha’s husband who was not at home when the incident occurred has also been warned not to return to the community as he would be lynched.
A police officer at the Ajah police station told an online news platform that though the case was not officially reported to the police, but that the case was being investigated.
“We will invite the parties. We can’t just keep quiet. We will brief you at the appropriate time, but be rest assured that the women will be interrogated and if found culpable will be made to face the music “.
