Four Fake SARS officials shot dead In Rivers State

Amidst the claims in some quarters in Rivers state that criminals have decided to impersonate operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Four Fake SARS officials shot dead In Rivers State, to give the unit bad name to justify claims of campaigners of #EndSARS some alleged fake SAR were on Sunday, December 17.
According to an eye witness report by Chris Okah who lives in Port Harcourt; as posted in his facebook page stated thus: ‘Four men robbery gang parading as F-SARS operatives met their end today in Ogbogoro community in Obio/Akpor LGA, Rivers State’’.
It would be recalled that the State government through the Obio-Akpor local government had issued quit notice to SARS to vacate its command base by November 30,2017.
The Commander of SARS Rivers state, Akin Fakorede, CSP, and a Lawyer replied that the unit would not vacate the command base because they are not occupying Obio-Akpor local government premises at the Obio-Akpor International market.

The state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice,Emmanuel Aguma , SAN, had defended the quit notice asserting that the land rightfully belongs to the Council and at the appropriate time, SARS will vacate.
