The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has expressed readiness to partner with Berekete Family Radio in a bid to strengthen the fight against corruption in Nigeria.
The Acting Chairman of the Commission, Ibrahim Magu made this known on Thursday, June 11, 2020 during an anti-corruption live radio programme, organised by the Berekete Family Radio to commomorate Nigeria’s Democracy Day.
Magu who was represented by the Kaduna Zonal Head of the EFCC, Mailafia Yakubu stated that the fight against corruption was a collective responsibility of every citizen.
The EFCC boss emphasised that family orientation was vital in children’s upbringing and advised parents to monitor the live style of their children, noting that the Commission will continue to pursue its preventive mandate towards educating, enlightening and sensitising the public on the activities of the EFCC and the ills of corruption.
