2 Killed, 7 Injured As Lagos Cultists Go On Rampage

Sunday 20th of January, 2019, witness the serious crime of the murder of two persons and the maiming of seven others who sustained several degree of injury occasioned by the cult groups popularly called Oriyanri one and Ojuna group within Badiya , Ijora in Apapa in Lagos state of Nigeria. 

The “area boys” as they are otherwise called went on rampage attacking shops, looting commercial wares around 11: 15 Nigeria time  23:15 Gmt.

The incident was as a result of clashes between two cult groups within Ijora Badiya in Apapa, Iganmu  Local Government Council Development Area – LCDA of Lagos state Nigeria. 

The mayhem was said to have lasted for about 7 to 8- hours going into the early morning hours of Monday 21st January, 2019. Most affected were dealers in Electronic gadgets such as Telephones handset and accessories, food vendor, were not left out including “keke tricycle tricycle commercial riders.

The situation was later brought under control by law enforcement officers – The Nigeria police and other security agents as eye – witness accounts revealed that the cult  boys have been terrorizing the area for long as Amukoko police Divisional headquarters and their counterpart at Ijora have not helping matters as the cultists have been known to them in the vicinity.
