Rivers Traders, Others Resort To Mid-Night Prayers Against Wike

Thousands of Traders, Hoteliers and many businesses across the state closed down as a result of the Rivers State government ban due to ravaging coronavirus pandemic, issues has resorted into mid-night prayers in seeking the face of God concerning their plight.

The Town Crier Online, have gathered that the Traders and others affected have now engaged from Junction to Junction prayers calling on the Almighty to touch the heart of the Governor Nyesom Wike to re-open their businesses, which they said has caused them an untold hardship and have made their families suffer lack.

Some of the traders especially those around the state capital and Obio/Akpor, Local Government area said the situation is not getting any funny as their families now do not have any hope or means of survival as a result of the state government action and continued ban on the reopening of the markets, hotels, and other businesses in the state.
“My son, our condition is really terrible. We have no money to feed and our children will soon start school. Tell me what we are going to do. Things are really rough with us.”
But, the Town Crier Online, can authoritatively reports the traders and Hoteliers are not resting in their continue pressure on the state government to re-open the businesses even as we learned that efforts are into gear for a showdown with government should their peaceful efforts fail to yield any positive results.
Also, this online site has gathered that some of the traders and Hoteliers that have connections outside the shore of the state have taken their matters to the presidency to pressurized the governor to yield to their demand, while others have also visited some popular preachers in the country.
