The commissioning by the General Overseer Daniel K. Olukoya of the 14,000 capacity worshiping auditorium on Friday 13th, December, 2019 must have come and gone but the echoes of what the Rivers state governor said at the event proper reverberates weeks after.
Arriving at the Port Harcourt Rumuola Worship Center Governor Nyesom Wike said “When the war was tough, they told me to go and sleep, that God will fight my battle. I want to thank God for using this man of God for blessing some of us. Today is my happiest days in life. You may not understand what I am saying. When I said this, you may not understand why I am saying it. There are men of God and there are men of God. I said there are men of God. Look, Christians, I owe no apology to anyone. Rivers state is a Christian state…If you want to kill me, so be it. I am not afraid of anyone.
You don’t
know what God has done for this state. If you know, you must thank God. I am a man that has fought many battles. You don’t understand what I am saying. I saw
war, but God said no, the battle is His. I owe apology to nobody. This is a
Christian state. I have given this state to god Almighty. This kind of man of
God, you cannot find him anywhere and anyhow.
I will die
for Christians I will die for GOD I will support this church. I will continue
to support the church. The church must
understand that they are part and parcel of the society. Church must speak out.
Church is a part of bad governance. During the election, you stay at home and
you expect to succeed. So, it is
important to be part of what is happening in the society. What is happening in
the society, you must be part of it. The church must speak out.
Peace has
come to the state and God has made the state one of the peaceful states in the
country. I want to identify myself with you. I want to take Rivers state along
with you.
I will support the church till the day I die. MFM, God is here! I will partner with the church.
Nobody can fight me, no man. When you see God using men of God like this, Dr. D.K Olukoya, very quiet, and humble. This is my first time that I am meeting him face to face. He will pray and send message. I came here when it was like warehouse. Today, those of you that are not Christians must be Christians today. I’m from Ikwerre. When the Ikwerre choir was singing, I shed tears, because I understood the music. Some people don’t like me ‘Ntoorr’.
I will support this church. At the beginning of the dedication, Governor Nyesom Wike said Dr. D.k Olukoya is a man of God. A good man of God who has the Fire of God”.
The Rivers state governor also performed the unveiling by cutting the tape in the name of God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The General Overseer of MFM immediately dedicated the ultra-modern church building to God, the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
“From my
heart. Those of you who want to die; I have where to bury you. If you are angry
that I am supporting the Church, die, I will bury you.
Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, God is here. When they pray for me, if you touch me, you see fire, because of what men of God like this have put in me. I will partner with the Church. Don’t touch me, fire will burn you.
I will
support this church with three (3) coastal buses. I will also support this
church to upgrade the facility you have with 200million”.
At this moment in what looked like a melo-drama Governor Nyesom Wike knelt down at the altar singing Ikwerre song after he praised the Ikwerre choir that their music touched his heart, and he pray to God.
