The gruesome murder of the Paramount ruler Eze Augustin Nmeruikini Amadi has been evoking condemnation and fear in Elibrada Community in particular and entire state leading to the desertion of the community by residents.
Almost in a similar manner, four persons, including a woman, and a petty trader were gunned down in the densely populated area of Diobu axis of Port Harcourt, on Tuesday September 16.
To checkmate the rising tide of criminal activities, the Spokesmen of Diobu vigilante, Prince Amatari Biabelebe, in an interview called on Governor Nyesom Wike to urgently commence the demolition of numerous waterfronts in Diobu.
This Tuesday killings are coming after a failed attempt to assassinate the Secretary of the Diobu Vigilante group, Prince Amatari, on Thursday, September 20, by Seven unknown gunmen armed with AK 47 but killed a member of Diobu vigilante group on same day.
He has therefore called on the Governor Wike to start the demolition of waterfronts and shanties in and around Diobu to dislodge the hoodlums who claims hibernate in the Waterfronts.
Spokesman of the group, Prince Amatari who said he was the target of the attack of September hoodlums who invaded his home with weapons to attack him but on meeting his absence, at about 1 am they cut all the burglary proofs before gaining access into his house and ransacked.
