Hon. Nasara Rabo salutes Nigeria @58: Pledge to remain focus and committed to his Administration “Let’s Get it Right Agenda”.
I am happy to join millions of our citizens and well wishers home and abroad on behalf of the good, patriotic and peaceful people of KAGARKO Local Government, the nation Home of Ginger and Cassava, to celebrate our Nation at 58 after Independence. This celebration always afford us the opportunity to take stock on what we have achieved as a nation, what we need to achieve and set the agenda as to how to achieve more for the development of our dear nation Nigeria. For us in Kagarko Local Government, the journey so far we can say has been so good, because we have as a local government tremendously and rapidly moved from the bottom of development index to witnessing giant strides in various sectors of development when compared with the rest of 773 in the Federation.
Since I assumed office through a landslide victory at the May 2018 Local Government election held in Kaduna State which confirmed the trust and confidence you have in my person and track records few months ago. My focus has been that of getting things right for the benefit of our great people. We are currently conceptualising great things which are people oriented projects to be part of the 2019 budgets so that they can be implemented for the benefit of our people. In security, we took over office at a time when news of kidnapping was on regular basis, immediately we came in we initiated the community policing which we promised during our political campaigns and it is a reality that by the grace of God we now have a safer Local Government Council for ease of doing businesses and for human habitation. Other giant strides and initiatives have been made by this administration in the areas of Agriculture, Road Infrastructure, Economy, Education, Health, Social and basic provision of social amenities, Youth and Women Empowerment, Civil Service, Land and Housing, Tourism and across all sector that we are presiding over as outlined by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended.
Hence I call for cooperation of all of us in Kagarko Local Government Area to making sure that these projects are initiated and successful implemented for the benefit of our Citizens.
As I conclude this Independence day address, I am using this medium to call for more unity of purpose, tolerance and resilience from all of us as development cannot be achieved in an environment of disunity, lack of tolerance or chaos.
I wish us all a peaceful and joyous celebration of this year independence celebration. Thank you all.
Signed Honourable Nasara Rabo Executive Chairman Kagarko Local Government Council Kaduna State.
