Over 50 angry Tankers Drivers today blocked the office of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Commission, NSCDC, located along Olu Obasanjo road, Port Harcourt.
Sketchy reports have it that they are demanding the release of four of their trucks seized by officials of the command since August last year including their contents Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, popularly called Petrol.
The Tanker Drivers have vowed that the stand off will remain until their impounded products are released to them.
However, the image maker of NSCDC, Femi Ayodele, insisted that the trucks impounded were loaded with PMS suspected to have been stolen.
At the time of filing this report the blockage has grounded businesses activities in that axis of Port Harcourt as motorists and commuters find it difficult to access their business places.
